Can anyone ID this little guy?
He has showed up daily and loves to shuffle through the seeds and throw shite everywhere.

Looks like an oriole, I had one last year in Thibodaux hanging around around for a few weeks.

Male Eastern Towhee is correct.

Females are brown where this guy is black. And Orioles wouldn't be eating seed.

That is one of my favorite birds. They get in my gardens and scratch like a chicken. If you try to imitate their call, they will answer you.

How did you put those box supports in those trees? Did you drill into the tree and glue a pipe coupling in?

The generic identification would be a “colorful dickie bird”, and it would always be correct.
