Order the forePets Professional WhistCall Bark Control & Obedience Training Dog Whistle for $8.99 Blow it when he starts barking. If you think the whistle makes him bark, more, find out when the guys sleeps, and blow it just inside your door.

I got the Petsafe version. It's probably not the best, but it worked for me and then when I sent it to my dad to use

For the dumbfricks who say buy a house, my dad has a house and so do I. Your neighbors can still have shitty dogs who bark all the time.

Prestone doesn’t always work. Had a Cujo next door. Barking 24/7. I slid a bowl of prestone under the fence. I heard the dog lapping it up. Didn’t slow him down one bit

Next, stuffed a bunch of sleeping pills in a hotdog. He ate all of it, slept 24 hours, then back to barking 24/7. We sold our house

90% of the time people that have a tiny space and own a dog are idiots. If you don’t have room for a dog, don’t get a dog.

As to your case, specifically, I would have spoken to him personally, rather than have the wife tape a note, but what’s done is done and now it’s time for some tater tots and a knuckle check at sonic. Always handle this kind of thing man-to-man. Never leave it to the wife to take action.

So pressing a button is too much work for you? You are asking for a device that activates when the dog barks and under 200 bucks? Good luck.

Not sure how that works with the covid and no eviction thing though

A buddy has been able to evict a couple of tenants based on animals lately.
Good thing is they both hadn't paid rent in months due to the moratorium. They both called for maintenance and had dogs inside, which is specifically called out on the lease. 1 picture later and their asses were on the street.
