The Great PM: LSU can't do any better

Hang on guys. PM will put some wins together and have LSU host a regional. This seems to always buy him another year with the fans and AD. Plus most baws here will say LSU can't hire a better replacement so PM must stay.

I don’t think anyone on here is saying they can’t hire a better coach. There is a greater chance that the next coach won’t do as well as CPM but there are guys out there LSU can get that May do better than him. LSU fans are going to be upset that majority of them won’t even know who that guy is because he won’t be Corbin, O’Sullivan, Schlossnagle, McDonnell, etc. It’s going to be a Vitello or Lovelady type guy.

At this point take a chance on a rising young coach from a mid major... best case scenario LSU is a national contender again, worst case we’re exactly the same as we are with Paul

I cant think of a single poster that said lsu couldnt get a better coach. Just another false narrative by the OP

The radio callers were hollering that on Kristan Garic’s radio show yesterday. “Who you gonna get better”? “Most active wins in baseball”

Ah, the scared simpleton approach. They said the same about Les and coach O gave us a magical season. While I wasn’t a huge coach o fan, he showed what hard work, great recruiting and a good staff could do. Last year he got lazy, like Les and PM and the results showed. I don’t think coach O is a great coach but he got the talent here, to his credit and he found young, capable and hungry coaches that carried him. That’s what LSU baseball needs is a hungry and capable coach that can bring in talent.

Then call into the radio show. The majority of posters here that are regulars, are fairly level headed about whats happening

I think it’s the fact that the majority of the names that are thrown out there are ridiculous
Corbin isn’t leaving Vandy
Pulling a coach from their alma mater isn’t going to be easy (Tadlock, Godwin)
Dean & Cannizaro should not ever be mentioned again
LSU’s athletic dept is a shite show
Alex Box is dated & major investments in the near future are doubtful
It’s going to be difficult drawing in a proven up & coming coach IMO
Not saying that’s a reason to keep PM
Just saying that’s reality & we will end up with Cain

We’re gonna get sent as a 2 seed to the Southeastern.edu regional paired with the Miss State regional.
Things might actually change at that point.

I’m tired of the sunshine blowers who think PM should stay. They always defend him by saying everyone else “don’t know baseball” and that’s just how it goes sometimes. I think we all know this isn’t LSU baseball and hasn’t been for a long time. The intimidation factor is all but gone. Guys, sorry but it is PAST time to move on and get LSU baseball back. The next great LSU coach and era is out there.
