Mask mandates on airlines will never end

Just got done with a trip and the ease and comfort that people have acquired with masks leads me to believe they are here to stay in many facets of our lives.
Air travel is one of them. They will never let go of this.
States and locales may dial this back but any place under federal control will keep this theatre going for years, likely forever in some cases.

You aren’t required to wear them when drinking. Just order a drink.

It is time for a Bullet Train.

Just flew from Amsterdam to Atlanta and it was a ridiculous pain in the arse to wear it for a 9 hour flight and this was on an airplane that was about 1/4 full. I sorta agree with you that if the global warming tards get their way they would want to keep the restriction to make it a pain in the arse to fly cause in their mind it reduces carbon emissions.

The first wrongful death lawsuit resulting from a CPAP user dying in their sleep on a flight will stop this.

Hopefully my trip in July goes on. I plan on just putting a blanket over my head or something while sleeping if I get push back

I don't think they will totally go away either. While perhaps not mandated as now, it will be "encouraged" during flu season and for people who have a cold to wear them for the safety of others. People from other countries, mostly Asian, practiced this before COVID.

I actually don’t mind it on an or plane. Keeps me from having to talk to strangers

Just be a dick and don’t talk them. Some of us don’t need props.

Some people love rules, love enforcing them, and love complying with them.
I think for many it reinforces the illusion of control and order.
All of these COVID rules are heaven sent for these people.

I'm fairly nervous about googling "midnight meat train" but I'm mildly curious about the movie, as well...
On topic, I'm not sure I'm going back to the Philippines until the mask mandate on planes ends. No fricking way I'm wearing a mask while being stuck on a 16 hour flight.

Know the feeling. I just googled Bullet Tooth Tony actor (Vinnie Jones) to find it. I enjoyed it. Little more of a gore film than I usually go to, but thought it was pretty interesting movie.

Of good grief.
They’re just going out of their way to be miserable.

Can you keep it in as you check-in too?? Or do they make you remove it to check your ID?...unless your black cause...well yous knows...

I don't mind wearing a mask on an airplane. Helps filter out the smell of recycled farts.
