Any suggestions wrt LED spots or strips either dimmable or not?
Will have a 55" and a 48" section of cabinet on each side of a window and another 70" section of cabinet against an opposite wall.
The countertop will be a lighter white/ivory color.
Thanks

I'd go dimmable and match the kelvins to whatever the rest of your kitchen lighting is. If not, go adjustable but make sure they can hit true white.

How are you planning to wire them being on opposite walls?

After redoing and installing from scratch about 5 different setups in the last few months, I would do one of three setups: traditional LED fixtures, Low-voltage LED pucks, or an LED ribbon trimmed in to give indirect lighting. All these options are dimmable, the ribbon offers RGB color changing which some people really like for parties, and it depends on how much light you want.

I used these to light up a liquor cabinet and a glass upper cabinet in the kitchen. They work very well and are dimmable or bright depending on your desired look.

If your doing hard wired strips make sure you have a spot to put the power supply that drops the voltage down for the LED lights and make sure the power supply can handle the amount of LEDs you plan on putting out. I went with the strips and hard wired. Mounted my power supply on the side wall of a cabinet.
