Sorry bud. I'll keep y'all in my prayers.
My dad might have cancer again too for the 3rd time. He's going to MD Anderson next week. Outlook so far isn't particularly favorable

Emotional support and as much distraction from the obvious as possible in the early stages. Gotta keep a positive spirit, both of you, and love life outwardly.
Don’t give the diagnosis any more power than it already has.
ETA: Prayers sent. And keep us updated. Definitely not an easy time to go through, but blessings to you and yours/her and hers nonetheless!

We haven’t been dating but since December but we love each other. I told I’d be there for her anyway she needs me. She’s just worried about her hair guess it’s her way of coping. Thank you guys

Damn fall guy I hope your dad pulls through again. This will be her second time and she almost died the first time.

This is good advice. My wife went through thyroid cancer about a year ago. First is the fear and uncertainty and then let it turn into resolve. Praying for y’all baw.

Praying for y'all.
As to how to get through.
I've recently been diagnosed with bladder cancer. Prognosis is reasonably good. It is high grade but there is no indication it got into the muscle and chest and lower abdomen x-ray and CT show nothing metastatic outside of bladder.
I just take it one day at a time and am grateful for all my blessings. For me it helps that I survived end stage liver disease because of a transplant, so everything is kind of lagniappe.

Prayers for everyone battling that horrible disease and for positive days in spite of the struggle. Also a reminder to all not to take anything for granted.
