Libs want to be 'lied' to; plausible deniability re any possible introspection.
"Behold, I will send them great delusion that they will (willfully) believe a lie". This is a Biblical prophetic description re the 'end times' for the Group of people that will support and promote the Global Authoritarian Government ("the Beast"). I suspect that if one went into the Biblical translation from Greek/Hebrew/etc., to English, the word "will" could be interpreted to mean 'willfully'.
Bottom line: there is NO factual truth that can persuaded someone whose personal desire and (confirmation) bias blinds them objective facts. This catch 22 (chicken or egg) scenario re what is true or no, will not be decided by the presentation of one set of subjectively perceived 'facts' or the other; it will be the default visionary perceptive paradigm that is the painful and calamitous consequence of societal dysfunction that brings a common and TRUE Vision of Reality. Until then, it'll be opposing version of subjective (moral-based) believers screaming at each other.

Admitting that the media has lied to them about one thing would open up a huge can of worms.
They would then have to question their entire belief system when asking “what else could they be lying to me about?”
This is where it gets really personal and irreparably damaging, because they were raised to be liberals by the people they love and trust the most. To “walk away” would mean turning their back on these people.
What’s different from your typical conservative upbringing is that they are indoctrinated much younger, before their brains have minimally developed. Not like logic is required anyway.
It IS their religion - their answer to what’s right and what’s wrong in the world.

What about the big lie concerning Trump's conversation with the Georgia Secretary of State. Not only did the Secretary of State (and the assistant SOS) lie about the conversation, they tried to destroy the recording of the conversation and planted stories in the Press. Then several major press organizations claimed to have corroborated the fake story. It just goes on and on.
The left places no value on truth. If there is no value in truth then truth is irrelevant. The problem with their logic is that if they believe their lies support their goals, how do they know if their goals are lies too?

Liberals care more about the reasoning behind their actions over the actual results.
When you understand this it all starts to make sense and the evidence is everywhere...their actions are not based on logic, therefore it is fruitless to discuss the logic behind their decisions. You must challenge the premise of their decisions altogether. For example, there is no reason to discuss if masks (or 2,3,4 masks) are effective. What needs to be challenged is that the government has no right to tell an individual they need to wear one in the first place. Don’t get caught trying to argue logic with someone unwilling or incapable of arriving at a logical conclusion.
