Regarding the Bullpen and pitching in general

I’m probably going to get a bunch of downvotes for this, but why are we not holding Alan Dunn more responsible?
Not only are we failing to fill up the zone with strikes, but there are numerous cases of pitchers coming to LSU who have gotten worse as their career progressed. Lange, Hess, Kurt McCune, Hilliard, Walker etc.
Is it coaching, practice, strength and conditioning? Or combination of all?

No downvote from me. Dunn should be on the hot seat for this crap.

You shouldn't get any downvotes.
There is no question the guy is doing an atrocious job with these arms.

I’ve been around the game for a long time and coached a long time so I see things the average fan wouldn’t.
But there’s one common denominator with the pitching woes we’ve had and put up with through the years. And it’s Alan Dunn
Can add Caleb Gilbert and Devin Fontenot to my list of players that have regressed too. I’m sure I’m missing more

This performance by the pen is unacceptable and obviously the guy in charge of pitching needs to feel some heat

Our bullpen is a mile wide and an inch deep

There is some simple “mechanics” problems, that is not being corrected! So ABSOLUTELY it falls on Dunn’s head. But ultimately it falls in Paul for not doing what he has to do to win! Taking care of your buddy should get you and him GONE!

This bullpen is not sec ready. Lsu better hope starters can go 8 innings and be up at least 5 runs.

8 runs and you can't beat a fricking team like this at home is fricking embarrassing!!! Not one fricking pitcher can throw a strike. Dunn is a bigger dick than pulmonary.

Paul doesn’t have the nuts to fire his buddy. There’s a big enough sample size to see it

Caleb Gilbert
One of the best pitchers in the SEC as a freshman. Couldn't even see the field his senior season.
Hilliard had a hell of a freshman season as well. Not nearly as bad of a regression as Gilbert but still pretty alarming.
Lange was downright awful in the playoffs in 2017.

Spot on...we have no relief pitching that can hit the zone....PM has to go.

Caleb Gilbert is not a good example. He had a shoulder injury that affected his velocity.

I think he is a good example. Different than the others but yeah he got hurt. Could be related to how much they throw. I know the program they do and how much and it’s insane. Honestly surprised there aren’t more injuries
