Yamaha Repair Shops

Anyone have a suggestion for a Yamaha outboard repair shop in Metairie or west (River Parishes)? How's Bent Marine on Airline? Outcast is Des Allemands?
I think I may have a bad throttle position sensor in the binnacle control. Might even be cheaper to just replace the control? It's a basic unit for a 60 HP.
Thanks!

Pier 21 in Kenna Bra. Not a huge fan of Bent, the few times I've dealt with them they seemed over priced and not too friendly.

For basic problems, Bents is fine (while i do think that they are a bit high on pricing) i have never had a “bad” experience. They are in a very convenient location. I am sure Pier 21 is fine.
If you have a serious problem, you should drive to Slidell. One of the best Yamaha mechanics in the country is there.

Yep, Pier 21. Hunter is a good dude. They don’t sell you a bunch of bs, know what they are re doing and do it well.

Outcast is the real deal but usually weeks before you can get in.

Outcast is hands down the best place to go for Yamaha. Prob not worth the wait if it’s just minor issue/service though.

You'll be looking at mid may if you try and go to outcast right now. Yes, they are that good and that busy.

Thanks for all of the replies, Gents. Pier 21 is close to me, I may give them a call.
Eric (Something)...he was at Cypress Cove in Slidell when I bought my boat from there in 2014. Slidell's just a little to far for me to be convenient. Eric was one of the few Yamaha Master Mechanics around here then. It appears they have added a few more to the list since that time, but he told me there was something like a dozen guys in his class and they only passed like a third of them, so it seems like that certification is no joke.
