UNO faces #21 LSU tonight with a 5-6 record. UNO has 2 series wins over Southern and ULM, losing a series to Bradley, dropping 2 mid week games to Tulane and South Alabama.
Team Batting stats: .198 team average (0 hitters over .300. Top average on the team is Kasten Furr batting .290)
Team HRs: 7 on the year (Leader with 2, Luther Woullard).
Team Strikeouts: 67 (Average 6 SOs a game)
Runs per game: 4.45
Pitching stats: Team ERA of 4.59 (Best pitcher on the staff is Kyle Khachadourian with 10 IP 0.00 ERA.
Leader in Strikeouts: Chris Turpin with 25 SOs in just 16 IP pitched.
Strikouts: 92 (8.36 per game)
Tips on winning th
Fielding stats: Fielding % of .963
Errors: 15 (Averaging 1.36 per game)
I expect LSU to come in and handle business. Hoping to see some young arms in there, throwing strikes.
Score Prediction: Close early on until the 4th or 5th. UNO runs out of arms in the pen. 9-3 final

I wouldn’t mind seeing someone other than Drost start in CF.

Why can’t Crews play CF? He’s the only one you 100% will have in the lineup when healthy. And as fast as Gio is, he’s misread some balls pretty badly at times.

Let the melt begin!
Not directed at you. Just in general that it will happen if your prediction is correct.

Mainieri addressed this before. It's dumb if you ask me.
quote:
“The possibility exists we could move Crews to center and plug Drost into right if we wanted to,” Mainieri said. “I don't really want to do that because I think Dylan has found a home, and I don't want to mess with his karma.”

I think it’s more, there’s no reason to move Crews out of RF just to move him back once Gio is healthy.

For those in la market it is also on cst unlike the ull and Tulane games

That's true too. That quote is really in response to trying to get Drost in the lineup.

Fixed
Game is on CST (Cox cable)
If you don’t have Cox you can watch on ESPN+ (Paid streaming - not the same as SECN+)

Yeah those of us with CST are gonna have to watch how quickly we respond in the game thread tonight. I don't wanna be the guy spoiling stuff.

The UNO press releases have made it a point to note “those outside the region” can watch on ESPN+. Is there going to be any kind of blackout issue with the stream if you’re in the region but don’t have CST, or is that just a way of UNO advertising on their behalf?

I think this game will be blacked out if you are in CSTs region. Right? Didn't this happen last year?

This just seems like a game LSU loses.
We shouldn't on paper...

curious if they give Doughty a game off with the sholder thing.

If he's not 100% he shouldn't have played vs Texas Southern. Play him.

i get that. but, he himself said he was like 95% and he had some kind of wrap on his shoulder.

would love to see Sanford get a fair shot. He has look good in his at bats. also a very good outfielder with a strong arm
