A LOT of people thought they'd win atleast part of the contract given the parameters of said contract and what Workhorse offered on the table.

Truth. Plus, I don't believe WKHS was an AT pick to begin with. He still believes in the company long term. Only time will tell if that comes to fruition.

AT said he was Golden Retriever, who started the big WKHS thread started late July.

I remember hearing about workhorse on this site before then on another thread sometime in late June/early july. Thats when I started buying....it was around $10 at the time. I can't remember who had mentioned it then though.

I guess it really doesn't matter, except that we all got screwed on that contract. Definitely not gonna blame AT on that one, thats for sure.

I'm still holding on to a small portion of my shares (at a cost basis of $23 now lol) in hopes that some day it'll take off and ill atleast reclaim those losses plus the original loss I took selling off after the crash.

I'm hopeful they can rebound and actually start producing their vans at a decent quantity per month, something they're still struggling with now.

As for RIDE, I think Lordstown is going to be a winner in the EV world. Beta prototypes are soon hitting the road, the Baja race in April, and production should start in Sept.

No, it was definitely one of his picks. And it was one of his more confident picks at that. He even doubled down on his support after they missed on the USPS contract.
