Are blacks that paranoid about getting COVID vaccination because they have some kind of fear? Are blacks under vaccinated for measles, hepatitis flu, etc, relative to whites because of fear?

They’re more scared of the Rona than whites so their stance on the shot is a bit perplexing.

many blacks in inner cities use the emergency room as their primary care doctor, amd use the emergency room as a pediatrician for their kids.

does that answer your question?

Maybe they, like many other people of other races, realize this particular vaccine is an experimental prototype and was pushed into production hastily.

A huge percentage of black Americans think white people are the devil and white peoples’ default mode is racist motivated exploitation of blacks whom white people view as inferior. Certain isolated, historically ambiguous scientific and medical treatment of blacks by U.S. government operated programs are well known in black America, even if the true facts are embellished, muddled and somewhat confused. It is enough to make many of them suspicious whether warranted or unwarranted. I personally thought that about 15 years ago our country had turned the corner and that a very large black middle class and a significant upper middle class was emerging and much of the damage done by the Democratic party’s welfare state was going by the bye. Unfortunately, racial politics was given new life fomented by hordes of ignorant people, black and white.

This appears to be a legitimate issue. I work in law enforcement where the vaccine is now available to age 50 and over officers. We have several black officers who are not interested in taking it. I was first to get it.

I asked one who said they aren’t taking a vaccine that Trump made.

True story.

I remember some segments of the black community celebrating COVID as a white personal disease. Fact

Of course I can't speak for the entire black community, but most folks generally don't have a problem with other vaccines. Black folks don't make up your usual anti-vax crew.

It's just this Covid vaccine that has everyone spooked. Combine fears from the Tuskegee experiments along with the Polio vaccine debacle back when. Add along with that the vaccine did come about fast compared to some vaccines in the past.

It's not surprising that black folks are hesitant for the vaccine. What's surprising is I have literally seen some people who are scared to death of Covid, but are also scared to death of the vaccine. I don't understand that mindset at all.

It’s not like the government has ever done terrible things to black people. Seriously, it’s not surprising that many black people distrust the government’s assurances about safety. The real question is why so many of them vote for more government interference into their lives

Immunizations and African Americans

African American adults are less likely than non-Hispanic white adults to have received a flu vaccine in the past year or to have ever received the pneumonia vaccine.
In 2017, Non-Hispanic Blacks aged 65 and older were 10 percent less likely to have received the influenza (flu) shot in the past 12 months, as compared to non-Hispanic whites of the same age group. African American children aged 19 to 35 months had comparable rates of immunization in 2017. African Americans are 10 percent less likely to have received an HPV vaccine as white populations.

I understand historically that horrible things were done.

Check in on the Tuskegee experiments.

However this stuff was done in the past and they need to move on.

But how are they supposed to move on when the woke left days how horrible white people are?

Does anyone in the left understand that their shrill sky screaming reinforces fears from that community?

Nope. It's really just another example of democrats hurting minorities.
