Boulevard American Bistro

Ate at the Boulevard today on Veterans in Metairie(old Houston's). Bring back Houston's, it was God Awful. Prime Rib looked good but tough. French dip was on bread that you can't dip because it was too soft and falls apart. Service was good though.

I’ve only had apps at the one in Elmwood and the fried oysters and creamed spinach with crystal aioli were great. Nothing on the menu seemed particularly inspiring though.

Full rack of ribs double French fries. It doesn’t disappoint.

I’ve always had really good lunches at Boulevard. The artichoke app is really good and ribs and burger are solid options.

I’ve been twice recently to the Elmwood location for lunch & they took so long with entrees that they comped them without me even asking.

Weird. I've been eating there all pandemic. Probably once every three months. Everything has always been perfect and that's to-go food. Only problem I have encountered is that the pork chop is the size of my got-damn thigh. Even I have trouble finishing it.
