Where are the fish biting?

Looking to take the wife tomorrow in the Verret, Pigeon, spillway area. Just looking to put her on some bass or sacalait

You could probably find them in spillway. The water isn’t really moving but it’s low enough that you could fish lay downs and tree tops. I looked at the water on the inside 2 days ago and it was high and muddy. I think your best bet is the spillway

Before last week's cold snap, we were really doing good in the Crankerhead. Limit of bass and several sac a lait on each trip.

I haven't seen any good reports over the last few days since things warmed up the past couple of days. I am sure the fish are feeding, they probably just moved.

almost the time of year to start hitting the catfish on the trees in Verret. Man that's fun when they turn on.

Guy in Persimmon pass yesterday catching all the blues that he wanted. Saw a bunch of blues outside the trees in north Palourde and south Grassy. Considering taking a trip to run some noodles.
