Winchester is a nice town and there are nice towns surrounding it- Leesburg to the south get pricey. The high school in Winchester looks better than the college; it was endowed by a local and looks very nice. Not much was happening there for singles 20+ years ago but it looks like a great place to raise a family. I'd move back...

I did notice that about the surrounding towns. They all actually seem to have pretty charming main streets and local options. One has a drive in theater. Seems very charming. And the school is beautiful. Probably one of the prettiest high schools I’ve ever seen in America.

ETA and not having a ton of young people is a bonus. Good to know.
