Very historic town and just off the interstate system. Several blocks of town are closed off for pedestrians only and area has cobblestone/brick streets. Nice architecture. Music, pubs, and decent food. George Washington was there pre revolutionary war doing surveying of the then West. Headquarters for a time in the Civil War for Stonewall Jackson. Both will probably be cancelled by the time you move in.

The county just this past year signed a 200 year deal with a historical society to preserve the towns civil war museum and soldiers memorial. Looks like the county has control over that and not the city. Interesting.
