That and they're worried he might run for president in 2024. He's a strong candidate who would (likely) have the blessing of Trump if he decides not to run again.

He’s a polished Trump, and if Harris gets the Democratic nomination, DeSantis will be tough to beat.

Everything in Florida is open. The only foot dragging is coming from our government schools because the damned teacher unions suck.
Closing the beaches last year was his biggest mistake in this entire pandemic. He quickly corrected that.
