People will nearly take your bumper off while weaving in and out of traffic only to be a few cars ahead of you at the next red light

It’s like they have no concept of time

For the most part, poor/trashy people are shitty drivers everywhere. Unfortunately, BR is filled with a poor/trashy population

I visited my parents last fall and the one time I left the relative comfort and safety of Highland Road, some black woman crossing through multiple parking spots almost t-boned me.

The truth is though, drivers everywhere suck.

A good friend of mine almost got into a bad wreck tonight on Perkins at Essen when someone failed to yield while merging. Thankfully, there was no one next to them and they were able to swerve in time.

I’ve lived in Baton Rouge, I’ve lived in Ascension, I’ve lived in Houston, and I’ve traveled overseas... Baton Rouge drivers are by far the worst.

Nothing worse than Chargers, Chrysler 200’s, and Nissan Altima’s switching lanes and weaving in and out of traffic and driving recklessly in BR.

We all know who the demographic that represents drivers of these cars.

As the risk increases to you personally, the better driving habits and patience you’ll have on the road.

Most bad bad drivers I’ve known are poor, take risks and frankly, don’t have much at stake.

How about the cars with temp tags that they obviously just bought that have a missing bumper and the door is a different color from the whole car

About 10 years ago I had a driver on I-10 riding my arse and was driving like a maniac. So much so that he was inches from my bumper and damn near rear-ended me. I break-checked him and proceed to follow to the capitol parking lot in the same fashion so I could exchange obscenities. After our altercation, I was surrounded be state troopers who told me the was harassing a Mississippi elected official. He was a Democrat.

Had a guy in a mustang pass me on Siegen last week, but passed me using the oncoming traffic lane, dumbass, then he got -in-front of me.
Then I casually went a little faster and got over in the next lane and passed him and then he switched to the lane I switched to and he was stopped at the light by Target behind me. After all that, that bitch had to sit behind me at the light.

If people would use cruise control I’m convinced half of the traffic problems would fix themselves.

Yeah, I'm always nervous driving around town seeing cars looking like they just came out of a pileup at Daytona.

I just like how most of them drive shitty cars. You know they don’t have anything of importance going on.

The risk reward part of ones cognitive thought is usually lower in poor dumb people. And you’re in Baton Rouge so the math adds up.

Thats a frickin fact. I love passing some jackass that's doing 10 under the limit, only to have them blow my doors off two miles up the road. Wash rinse repeat
