Patrice was in that crew. But, whether it was actually warranted or not, most of those guys were actually outshined on roasts by the likes of Lisa Lampanelli, Jeff Ross, and Sarah Silverman.

I don’t remember him in those roasts but no one outshined Geraldo on those roasts. I remember him from tough crowd and your assessment is accurate for me. I have a buddy that says he was hilarious on Opie and Anthony but I wasn’t a listener except for certain YouTube clips.

Is the best!

Jim and Sam...the worst! Sam Roberts is the worst host in the history of radio! He makes Jim below average.

And I paid homage to Jim in my book...and included a funny story about him.

His joke after that playing off Patrice is even better:

Patrice: Too many white people to get that.

Anthony: Too many white people? You know what no one ever says? Too few black people.

I love O&A as much as anyone, still listen to replays for about 80% of my YouTube viewership, but the idea that Jim himself has not become an uninteresting and uninterested shell of his former self doesn’t pass muster. I would love to see Jim and Ant go back to doing a show together and have it be the way it always was, but Jim would bring nothing to it and Ant is a defeated man, similar to Joe Piscopo. Whether that’s his fault is another topic, but as it is, that’s the sad truth. That is hard to say, because I was and remain a huge fan of Anthony.

I don't keep up with Anthony Cumia much anymore, but doesn't he own and operate a pretty successful podcast network?

He's also a pretty big political commentator now and I think has lots of paid subscribers to his show/network. I could be wrong, it I know he's done lengthy live guest spots with Stephen Crowder and Nick Dipoalo on their shows and vice versa.

Are those shows on the level of Opie and Anthony? No. They don't anywhere close to the level of distribution as that show, but to make out like he's some irrelevant, she'll of his former self is a bit overstated I think he's just found his niche and talks about what he wants and has a pretty loyal base.

I read somewhere once that he had like 40,000 subscribers. Just say he charges $5/month, that's $2.5 million/yr. If he's getting that, I'd say hes doing incredible.

No and no. He's a nut who gets banned from Twitter and recently took out a second mortgage on his house. I think you're getting your subscription numbers from the press release for his failed book. His "network" lost the only draws they ever had (Gavin McInnes and Legion of Skanks) long ago then wasted a ton of money on Artie Lange, who showed up for work about 5 times usually with blood dripping out of his nose. I'd be shocked if Anthony isn't broke within 5 years.

But the “dad rape” joke in your clip is terrible. Like ten year old unfunny terrible. and Jeselnik can do far better than that. And had he been allowed to tell that joke I don’t think Tyson would’ve cared. And I don’t think many people would’ve laughed (outside of courtesy laughs).

I’m sorry, but the thought that Mike’s dad walked out on him due to Mike raping him, that’s fricking hilarious.

I did an interview with Gavin.

Anthony and Jim participate in the Chip Chipperson PodaCast.

Would love to see an Anthony and Jim Show.

All Sam Roberts talks about is Wrestling Dolls and 90 Day Fiancé. He's terrible. You have to be terrible to make Jim Norton NOT FUNNY!

Jim checked out years ago too. Find any video clip of late years o&a where he's not staring at his cell phone. He picked up his cell phone on Joe Rogan and immediately shite his pants when Rogan got pissed.

Everyone wanted to side with him over opie but they went out of their way to not cater to the old crowd with the new show. They'd rather interview Mary Jean 10 times and say "I don't know it's a tough one, man" about politics than bring Colin Quinn in studio.
