Yes it’s called ice and water shield
When I built my house I had them put it in all the valleys and on all the eaves

Ice and water shield. It is a great product, but you also need to think about when you are ready to replace your roof. It can be extremely difficult to remove a roof when shingles get attached to it. Many times roofers do not even know it is there when they go to replace it and the change orders can be enormous. If you do use it make sure you know the areas and make sure it it noted in the contract.
