Most of these CBB games being cancelled are not because of positive tests, but because of contract tracing and positives among the general student body as a whole. It's a complete joke.

I can't wait for a team to be knocked out of the NCAA tournament because of this shite. A team is in the Sweet 16, but oh no, they had a student manager or trainer come into contact with someone who tested positive, therefore your tournament run is over.

here’s the stats on covid problems in LA high school football playoffs

Round 1- like 7 teams forfeited, all lower seeds facing road games,

Round 2- 1 team forfeited, a lower seed facing a road game at their eventual state champions

Quarterfinals, semis, and finals- no forfeits despite a massive uptick in Louisiana cases in mid December
