Obviously the ceiling is the Natty baby. But what do you think is his floor? Basically, the minimum that O can do without getting canned.

9-3 I think he survives. 8-4 gets him fired after last year imo

8-4 (& a bowl win) I think a 7-5 season with all these players returning is wholly unacceptable.

4 losses (regular or post season) and he's done.

100%. You have to prove that 2020 was a freak accident that won't happen again for another 20 years. I expect to see a total transformation, not marginal improvement. Honestly, I personally need to see 10 wins total to stay with O.

UCLA
McNeese
Central Michigan
State

Auburn
Kentucky
UF
Ole Miss
Bama
Arkansas
ULM

A&M

Anything less than 8 wins and O's seat will be flaming hot, even 8 wins will have O on the inferno seat. He has to bring back the 10 win standard this season.

0 will not be fired for 7-8 wins this year.

8-4 would be a bad look.... 7-5 and he may still hang on... 6-6 and he is gone......

Whatever the consensus is here, subtract a win and you’ll have the real answer. Reality is 7-5 puts him on a hot seat with the feeling around the team being the possible straw.

I think it depends who losses are to and how bad they are. Really Bama is the only acceptable loss on our schedule and that game should be competitive. If we have have 2 or 3 close losses against Bama, UF, A&M or Auburn, and a close loss bowl game would be the worst season he should keep his job. If there are blowout losses and or losses to ole miss and UCLA. It will be a real negative place around Baton Rouge. I think we will have a good team though so no need to dwell on that.

He's not getting fired at the end of next year unless it's a disastrous season like 5-7 or 6-6 with all kinds of visible turmoil amongst the players and coaches. I'm sure there will be some reasoning that the coaching staff would need another season together since there are so many new coaches coming in.

Another .500 season i think he is gone. Especially with the talent on the team. Anybody think he is fired after winning 8 games is ignorant as hell.

I think 10-2 is very doable, considering who returns for us and all the changes our opponents are facing.

LSU could very likely be undefeated going into Bama, AGAIN.

I think it depends on who the losses are against and how we compete in those losses.

Even if we get to 10 wins and have ugly blow out losses against Bama and UF/Auburn/A&M; you better believe his seat will be hot

LSU will probably be favored in 10 of 12 games. Floor should be 9-3

Any FULLY scheduled season where LSU ends up with a single digit in the win column is coaching malpractice. (Not saying O will be canned for that though).

Before you tards attack, understand we play at a MINIMUM 13 games per year, unless we have a losing record. 4 losses for a program like LSU is too damned much.

PS for the tards- Jimmy Johnson agrees with me. He's said it multiple times in interviews over the years.
