Will Latoya win a second term?

As it stands, I see no way that LaToya wins a second term unless her opponent is David Duke.

Even the liberal establishment in the city is scratching their heads now. Old line families that supported her are embarrassed. The black establishment is embarrassed.

She is by far, the worst mayor New Orleans has ever had and that’s saying something.

Her response to covid is insane. Rather than try to figure out a way to return the city to form and allow it to do what it does well- entertain She seems to be relying only on the federal bailout money that comes from the varied Covid aid packages that come out of DC. It’s a flawed strategy. The bailout money will be mishandled and eventually the citizens will be called upon to fix problems they can’t even imagine. Streets collapsing, water shooting out of the ground, pumps frozen in the midst of a summer rain. Schools that breed criminals And Police who are more aligned with the criminals than the civilians. .

Here’s the real scary part. The city is so far gone already that even if George Washington reincarnated and ran against her, he’d have to implement change so painful that the citizens would never elect him because he wouldn’t lie to get elected. New Orleans is stuck with the option of taking a psycho, or a liar who is just going throw a bunch of BS to the voters to get elected but ultimately won’t do anything to put the city on sound footing.

So——- can The Destorya actually get re- elected?
