I was following a discussion this morning on 'the river' about marketplace book sellers (usually small sellers who are third-party partners) not being allowed to list for sale books whose titles contain the words 'Confederacy,' whose covers feature the Confederate battle flag, etc. One seller had a listing removed because of its title, 'Southern Cross.'

I guess if there are no books about it, it didn't happen. Orwell's missing a good one.

Grab any and all such books you can find at antique shops, used bookstores, etc. They're bound to, if nothing else, skyrocket in value.

Wonder if they've banned Confederacy of Dunces?

I bought this in an antique store in Phoebus, VA circa 2000 for $40... My wife said "why?"

It is $149 on Amazon today but the reason I wanted it was because I knew one day it would not be available...

Let's ban books about the Holocaust too.

In 50 years, nobody will know that either happened and the world will be a better place because of it.

Right?

And chicken... don't forget chicken

It is racist to say certain people like it.
