I admit, I overreacted.

The jump he has made in the last month has been fun.

Saw him stay in front of John Wall when they isolated him. His on ball potential is scary.

Like i said in one another topic, Zion needs to improve defense and FT% but he seems to be improving much faster than I expected...

Next step : Improve his shooting ability (mid-range and 3).

Lol and this board was literally spent the last several weeks calling him fat/lazy etc.

And flamed any poster who said chill, he’s 40 games in let him develop.

I still personally think Zion is fat.

What makes me believe in his longevity is having Aaron Nelson as fitness trainer.

Otherwise I would be much more afraid that he has Blake Griffin / Greg Oden career, a career plagued by serious injuries.

Is he the most unique talent ever in the nba?

He’s been the most dominant scorer in the paint since Shaq, and he’s 7 or 8 inches shorter. Holy bleep

imagine if he becomes a consistent 37+% 3pt shooter and 75+ FT shooter and continues to improve his handle.

75+ FT shooter

I don’t want to say it outloud but it appears he’s almost there on this one. Been looking pretty solid at the line lately. The Association is sooooo fricked

60.3% FG
50% 3pt
75% FT

23.7 ppg
6 rpg
4.3 apg (to 2.1 TOs) solid 2.04 A:T ratio
1.2 bpg
0.8 spg

Notice how much different he is than young Blake even this year compared to last year. Blake dunked everything early on and Zion was similar last year. This year Zion is greatly favoring lay ups to dunks. I have to imagine that Nelson and the coaches told Zion to go for the layup with his supernatural finishing touch as opposed to trying to dunk through people all the time.

Yea he’s been substantially better from an effort standpoint on D. It makes me wonder what changed for him.
