I bet Sessions runs again

But I hope you Baws elect Mo Brooks this time. He’s bright and would be perfect.

Still inexplicable to me that y’all ended up with Roy Moore v. a dorky Abortions dude.

Then again, I live in Louisiana so I cast no stones

Shelby brings more pork than any other Republican in congress.

You think BRAC goes the way it did without him? Dude turned Huntsville into the premier economy in the state.

He’s the ultimate RINO but everyone in Alabama should at least appreciate what he did for the state from a fiscal standpoint.

I agree with Wednesday... Mo Brooks.

AL will definitely not see the amount of pork coming into the state when Shelby retires. I foresee Space command staying in CO.

I wonder if one of AL’s other congressmen go for it (Adderholt maybe). Sessions needs to retire in Mobile and leave politics.

If Shelby votes for impeachment.... his legacy in AL will be destroyed. AL is MAGA through and through. Im so thankful I live in such a red state.

Now.... the AL legislature needs to vote to make AL a sanctuary state for 2A.

It was a perfect storm of stupid.

Bentley - a bumbling, corrupt fool - appointed Luther Strange to Session's seat, who at the time was actually in charge of investigating him. Nothing fishy there.

Strange and his establishment PACs spent all their money attacking and smearing Brooks. After he was successfully eliminated, they didn't count on how unpopular Strange was. Moore can always count on an easy 30-40% in this state and a LOT stayed home.

When he secured the nomination, the smear campaign on Moore began. He's already disliked by a fair number on both sides of the aisle, so they readily bought it. Thus, Doug Jones. I don't think that set of circumstances will repeat, but I fully expect the same establishment money to blitzkrieg Brooks from the opening gun. They do NOT want a real conservative in that seat.
