quote:
A Massachusetts climate official said people who heat their homes and fuel their cars will need to have their “will” broken in order to combat emissions and climate change. I know one thing that we found in our analysis is that 60% of our emissions come from … residential heating and passenger vehicles,” said David Ismay, Massachusetts, undersecretary for climate change, during a virtual meeting with the Vermont Climate Council. “Let me say that again: 60% of our emissions that need to be reduced come from you, the person on your street, the senior on fixed-income. Right now, there is no bad guy left, at least in Massachusetts, to point the finger at and turn the screws on and now break their will, so they stop emitting. That’s you. We have to break your will.” Ismay reasoned that climate agencies were running out of options. The Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance also weighed in on the clip, calling it “frightening” that someone with as much power as Ismay was calling for such proposals. “It’s frightening to think an official so high up in the Baker administration is bragging to an out-of-state group about the economic pain he wants to inflict on the very people who he’s supposed to work for. Remarks like this have no place in state government. Ismay should be dismissed from his position in state government, as he’s clearly demonstrated he does not have the best interests of the residents of Massachusetts at heart.

So they want us all to freeze and walk but I bet they will all still have large warm homes and several cars and jets.

But I bet this soyboy worships those left-wing politicians with 3 homes and a private jet.

They're going to come after meat next.
They have deemed meat bad for the environment and are going to begin artifically driving up the cost of it iwth taxes and regulations, much as they have cigarettes.
And much like with added fuel costs, it won't effect the rich, only the poor and middle class.
We're going back to serfdom, we'll be eating boiled cabbage in our freezing homes while our masters dine on the pig in their luxurious estates.

Easy, Just regulate energy and tax it.
Regular people won’t be able to afford it.
The elite can use as much as they want.

Replace their units up north with Heat Pumps. Will serve their arse right come winter time.

People in Louisiana are more likely to contribute to AGW by running the AC in the winter time than they are by heating their homes. Louisiana also gets most of its electricity from nuclear and natural gas power plants. The idiots in the Northeast corridor have already limited their ability to bring in enough natural gas to by pipelines in order to keep the lights on and heat their homes. I am all for those same idiots to continue to penalize themselves and make electricity and natural gas more expensive. Eventually the citizens will get tired of their shite and stop electing them.

I hope those pipeline pumping stations don't break down. You know with all the cold and all.

They need to actually do it . If they did 90% of democrats would vote against them in the next election. The democrats will not do much to prevent climate change because most of their voters don’t care enough to change their life style.
