New to the desiel world, any one here have an 07 lbz, with a custom tune? Wanting opinions on it. Not trying to make it into a race truck. Egr delete, 5inch exhaust, CAI, is there a shop I could bring it to in Louisiana that could help me out more? I do 75% highway an can use the extra mpgs that come with the above upgrades. Thanks

In b4 tuck nuts gives you 200 hp/400tq and 30mpg.

Edit: will be just a work truck.

If you get caught with a “deleted” Diesel engine, it is a federal offense, and your fine will be retroactive to 0 miles. Yeah, all fun & games ‘til you get caught...

If you knew anything about the LBZ you would know the only thing it has is an EGR and cat converter... You can bypass the egr and leave it intact. However I’ve never heard of these federal offense fines unless it’s a DOT truck (hotshot) and you would a dumbass to delete one of those.

find a forum for the specific vehicle, they will know what to do and where to send you. There are all sorts of truck shops in La that work on diesels so that shouldn't be too hard to find. Outdoor board baws can probably help point you in a better direction than tOT. All you'll get here is "suma tuma tires and they gotta be run flat" and "truck nuts off [on]"

This is where I took mine when I lived down there. It’s a good shop.

Sell it and buy a 7.3. At 2007 you're only 4 years off of the last year it was available anyway.
