True. But it's also generational re: journalists. During Reagan's time the newspapers were still run by older guys who are dead now. They would be embarrassed to print criticisms of Reagan every day for 8 years.
Today's younger journalists are on a mission and have no self awareness necessary for embarrassment.

Meh, not exactly. Check out the show “Snowfall.” It was on FX. The first season gives you a decent idea of how it took hold in LA. After that it’s just character arcs.

That was actually the CIA who did that.

Reagan’s Vice President, George H. W. Bush was the former head of the CIA. They used air fields in Mena, Arkansas to facilitate trafficking of weapons to the Contra rebels and shipping cocaine in. Then governor of Arkansas, Bill Clinton, was also in on the action.

I don't think it was intentional, but that was the result. It's well known that cocaine money was used to fuel the Contra affair in Nicaragua, which was made possible by efforts of the CIA. Our government has been doing shady shite like this for over 150 years.

Or don’t. I DGAF. “American Made” was entertaining and Hollywood-ized but it gives you a pretty decent way to understand the shite that definitely went down. My team was in Mena at one of those CIA-built hangars two weeks ago. Take it or leave it. Doesn’t matter to me.

Yep. When they aren't giving unsuspecting Americans massive doses of LSD, infecting them with syphilis, blowing them up, sabotaging vehicles and staging other "accidents" they happily find the time to introduce highly addictive drugs to disadvantaged communities. Its what they do. Their other 3 letter agency friends gladly and enthusiastically lend a helpful hand whenever they can.

Oh Maxine, Lyndon Johnson Quote: " I'll have those n*****s voting democrat for 200 years". He was right.

Of course the democratic watch dog snopes says there is no proof of that. Of course they will never admit it.

This is correct. I remember how much fun it was to watch ABC news every night during the Reagan years because of the daily verbal sparing he had with Sam Donaldson. As sarcastic as Sam was I never, ever sensed that he hated Reagan in any way. No, I'd say Sam Donaldson loved RWR, even though he would probably never admit it.
