Seen China? Our gov't loves China and we are following their lead, and owned by them. Masks are here to stay.
side note: I went to grocery store, some old hag yelled at me about a mask...I said I don't have one, she gave me one and I promptly put it in my pocket and walked off. Never bothered again.
