You can dispute Tyrann all night whatever but Fournette is a clown pick. It shows recency bias big time. We’ve had some elite Louisiana guys.
Great Tiger, but he’s not top 5 from Louisiana. His high school ranking is meaningless.

That's a funny way to spell Avery Atkins...

Maryland- I’ll suggest Mickey Mangham who caught the pass from Cannon in the Sugar Bowl to defeat Clemson 7-0 on Jan. 1, 1959.

Name a player from the state that dominated like Fournette? Made a bigger impact every game than Fournette? He carried the offense for 3 years with horrid QB play.

Everyone agree that Alabama is Jamarcus Russell?

Pennsylvania- how about Doc Fenton -1908?

There's no way in hell there's somebody from Idaho that made a roster and if it happened it wasn't a local

I’ve never seen a defensive player take over like Tyrann. He won an SEC championship game as a nickel back.

I was going to suggest Bill Elko (early 80s) but yours is better.

New Jersey - Tashawn Bower
Washington - Ali Gaye (if we’re doing HS “hometown”)

Jacob Phillips was probably better than Stevens from Tenn, but there is probably someone from back in the day.
Georgia could be either Mettenberger, Kelvin Sheppard or Kevin Minter from the last decade. Hard to think of people prior to that.
And Pete Dyakowski is a lock for Canada
