I don’t support DC statehood, but you do realize that we’ve added 37 states to the Union and not once has that development caused a war?

We have never had the sheer amount of Looney Tunes socialist hell bent on destroying the USA. They want it to become some mentally deranged utopia. Transgender, feminist, turn the military into a haven for the mentally ill and deranged. Not to mention, spending our way to the poorhouse!

Thanks to the Missouri Compromise. Don't see something like that in the works now.

Alaska and Hawaii were both added together because one was Republican-leaning and one Democrat-leaning. Eisenhower and Congress compromised so the balance of power wasn’t heavily tilted in one direction.

I am pretty certain that adding Texas in 1845 was the immediate cause of the Mexican-American War in 1846.
