Watch JJ remember how to shoot once he's traded haha. I would love to keep him here as a mentor for his work culture but I understand.

Lonzo can see the next exit out of here!

At this point JJ’s greatest value is as a credible PR rep on behalf of SVG for the team to remain bought in. His play certainly ain’t doing it...

Give me a likely late first though and I think that’s fair game. You hopefully can turn that into decent role player or better with the right scouting.

Well he's not going to stay this bad all season and once he's traded there will be a bunch of pressure off since he won't be counted on as the only 3 pt shooter on his next team.

I think right now is probably the right time to inject some expectation setting again.

Very likey if we move on from Bledsoe, JJ, and Redick they are going to look significantly better in their new homes over time, and people are going to rush to blame Griffin/SVG.

But the fact is all three are collectively in a really shitty situation. It is about the least complimentary rotation in the league, all exacerbated by being on a team that has had a brutal schedule and the deck stacked against them because of the new system and condensed offseason.

Those three basically going anywhere, in any rotation more aligned with where they should be will likely make them look better.

JJ going to a contender in an established offensive system that can incorporate him comfortably into what they are doing, not being asked to be a sixth man, not having to over exert himself physically thanks to having better players around him, likely means an notable improvement.

Ball going somewhere where he has a more complimentary guard, is built around more, or comes off the bench in a lower usage utility role will almost certainly make him look better. Bledsoe going to a team with proper spacing next to him and a more complimentary role either off the bench or starting like in MIL, will likely make him look better as well.

All that said moving them is the right move. JJ is gone after this season, Ball is not the right fit next to Zion/Ingram, and Bledsoe isn’t on our time schedule
