Liberals have a fundamentally different belief system than conservatives. Their up is our down and vice versa. The sooner you realize this the less effort you waste trying to argue with them.

You're not wrong but our up is truly up, their definition of up is indeterminate.

Bro, and you answered with a bunch of one sided "Rightist" viewpoints.

That's politics.

That died a long time ago. It's become a mob ruled argument platform. It's ironic that so many here claim that those they disagree with promote "obey or die," yet if someone on this board has a dissenting idea, it's death to that person.

Have you ever considered that MAYBE your platform, or at least the ten things that smileyvamp posted, is absolutely ridiculous and harmful to our country? We aren’t just a mob going after you because of what you believe, you honestly just don’t have much ground to stand on. You think your arguments have more validity than they do because the media tells you so. Your party is in control because it cheated. You, and everyone who thinks like you are brainwashed by a political machine and you don’t even know it. It’s astonishing.

Honestly, I think discussion went out the window on this board as soon as upvotes/downvotes got introduced. Used to be you actually had to talk things out. Now people can press the red arrow and feel like they owned the libs.

Im thinking he meant non-partisan issues that most reasonable people would agree on. For example:

I guess your definition of things reasonable people would agree on are only your own opinions?

Most americans would not consider stopping the flow of illegals into the country a bad thing - its essentially what got Trump elected. Id also challenge the idea that this was done to save money when ole joe is slapping 2 trillion dollar "stimulus" bills up on the table.

You say this under the assumption that the lack of a wall is the only thing stopping the "flow of illegals into the country".

Pretty sure it will be, since he got more than half of the vote. If it's not, more people should have voted.

Yes

Agreed

Trump was on the front lines of travel restrictions and was hammered for it.

It was the one and only thing he could ever point to as actions he took that were helpful to stopping the pandemic, and even a year later it was still the only thing he would point to in the debates. Great, I'll admit that yes he did act kind of quickly on travel restrictions.

Really. This is all just goobledygook. Promote, declare, support... Its all a bunch of nothingness to appease the rabble while they fleece us. Just like Bushes, Obamas, and Clintons. Nothing changes except the agenda gets more untethered from sanity.

One could say a significant amount of Trump's rhetoric was "goobledygook" that never resulted in any meaningful action, including his whining about the election.

Self mutilation is a sign of mental illness. Willingly getting your dick cut off is the same thing.

1) Stopped the waste of 15 BILLION dollars on the border wall. Total misappropriation of funds which is why it was going to the SCOTUS

Get back to me when you remove the front door of your home and place a sign out front that says “free stuff”

2) allowed transgenders back in the military. dont care your stance on transgenders. an american should be able to serve if they want to.

Fair enough, but no “elective surgery.” Cut your dick off on your own dime.

3) Student loan debt moratorium
A moratorium is pointless. I say that the government should seize the endowments of every university in bed with the Chinese, then equally pay the money out to anyone that ever had a student loan, move on.

4) additional stimulus money since $600 was an empty gesture
That hasn’t happened so until it does, this point is moot.

5) Making a covid response position. since this has only been going on for 9 months...
By doing exactly what Trump did and then when pressed Biden didn’t know jack shite.

6) banning discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation
Fair enough, although that policy was pretty much already in place to a large degree

7) mandating ethics pledge for government appointees
Like Louisiana? It is a good thing that our state is corruption free.

8) promoting Covid-19 safety in domestic and international travel. Finally caught up to the rest of the world
Fair enough

9) supporting states’ use of National Guard in Covid-19 response
Trump did this as well -not new. In short, not a Biden policy per se.

10) expanding food assistance programs
Fair enough, although the issue is mainly centered on Democratic states / urban areas controlled by Dems. It is pretty much illustrates how poorly run those states etc. actually are.

No offense, but you list isn’t overly impressive.

This. I'll answer the OP's question, but fully aware the discussion will go nowhere. Those on this board, on either side, typically just want to play "gotcha" and post gifs.

Really solid post.

Elections have consequences and I'm in favor of what Biden has accomplished so far.

Some problems in big cities and urban areas are actually because they are big cities and urban areas, not because there are a lot of liberals there.

Some problems in the country and isolated areas are actually because it's the country and they are isolated, not because there are a lot of conservatives there.

is this what happened before the illustrious wall was built? has anyone truly even seen a substantial change? I'm only in my 30s, but I dont recall a time growing up where illegal immigrants stormed through the city taking what they want. What I do remember is them rebuilding the city after Katrina and living in tents in City Park.

I love when people use broken rules as a reason not to have them. Murder happens and exists. Yet we have laws to say dont do it. Should we disband any laws that are continually broken?

The OP asked for 1, I gave 10. I agree, it's not overly impressive. It's also been what 3 weeks? Did any one seriously think the world would flip?

Serious questions.

What bad decisions in your life led you to be poor and vote Democrat?

Did you come from a broken home and were raised by mommy?

Do you have a criminal past which would prevent you from getting a good job?

I could name dozens, but the daily version of this question doesn't care about anything other than criticizing Biden, so what would be the point? I could name one good thing that most of the board agrees on in a thread above this one, but you're just looking for reasons to criticize and I'm not interested in providing you fuel.

Btw, the fact that you would ask just shows how partisan and unpatriotic you are. I could name good things that every President has done, including Trump. If you can't do the same then you're just a partisan hack and not a Patriot.

I do appreciate that he is already taking the virus problem more seriously than Donald Trump. I have lost friends and coworkers from the virus and my grandmother currently has it. This has influenced me to want the American nation to take the Virus more seriously.

As this poster states, recognition and addressing the pandemic. It did not go away after the election and the lack of a federal response overall to mitigate the spread didn't help. I too have seen first hand the effects of COVID 19 ..its not pretty!
