Yeah that's a terrible look. I'm not anti renewable energy at all but this is the shite that people like AOC never bother to consider.

He just signed an EO so anyone who is afraid of Covid can just quit their job and get unemployment. Absolutely nuts.

But why limit our own nation's oil production when our green energy isn't close to being able to replace what oil can do. We are at the beginning of the green revolution, but as the green technology gets better, then you start to limit your oil production for smooth transitions.
I learned the other day that those blades on the wind turbines only last 2 years and no landfills will take them so there are piles of massive blades just stacked up that they can't do anything with

Yeah this is what I presumed without even looking much into it.

Warren Buffett is the chief executive of investment corporation Berkshire Hathaway and is credited as one of the most successful investors of all time.[1] According to Forbes, Buffett was the second-richest person in the world in 2017, with an estimated net worth exceeding $75 billion.[2]
Though he claims to eschew “huge” political checks, Buffet has given substantial contributions to liberal political candidates and committees, including a $25,000 check to Hillary Clinton’s super PAC. Moreover, he opposes calls for transparency on his corporations’ political giving, and foundations he funds have pledged to give hundreds of thousands of dollars to liberal organizations supported by the liberal mega-donor conglomerate Democracy Alliance.

Warren Buffett’s company Berkshire Hathaway purchased 77.4% of BNSF shares for $100 each on November 2, 2009. Berkshire Hathaway already owned 22.6% of the company, so the acquisition gave it total ownership of BNSF.

go ahead then and mention it. I honestly can't keep up with all that happened under trump so I'm not disagreeing with you. But what did trump do that was similar to this?

people in the business say they were made worse by the president’s trade wars and mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic. So far least 40 U.S. oil companies have sought bankruptcy protection in 2020 while dozens of others have slashed spending and cut tens of thousands of jobs.

ton of oil baws even on this site admitted they have been laid off since 2018. way more oil jobs were lost than 1k.

Handling of covid is what you're trying to compare to an EO that straight up put 11k out of work.

Yes, that is a stretch connecting the dots between those jobs lost and Trump. I am in the pipeline business and Trump has from the beginning been pro O&G, especially when it comes to pipelines.
I know this was mentioned but Biden is for sure against pipelines since his big money boosters are all rail guys, with Buffett being the top dog. He just gets the best of both worlds when he can please the tree huggers as well. It's gonna be a rough stretch for big mainline jobs which typically go union, which typically is a Democrat voting base. Luckily, I am in the integrity side of the business and I see lots of new job spending being diverted to existing infrastructure.

Warren Buffet to be specific. He owns BNSF, which had some high up employees tell me was looking at losing at least 10-15% of their annual revenue if the pipeline had been completed.
