Exactly... I think he is trying to hard. He needs to let it come to him and be patient and work on his vision.

i don't know if you can really work on this. it's very much based in natural instincts, and bush has never shown them

Stop Hatin', Byatch

Virtually every one of those 30+ plays is superior to anything Thomas or Stecker has done in the NFL.

thomas and stecker have just as many 100-yard rushing games as saints as bush

and thomas/stecker have seasons with better than 4.0 ypc, something bush has not done in the NFL

do i need to re-post the list of guys who had longer runs than bush last year?

I've accepted the fact that Reggie is reliant on bigger RB's being in the game. At USC, he had the biggest holes to run through to make him look untouchable and and those holes that were there in college, close immediately in the NFL. Hybrid back. That's all he is.

who gives a shite? none of those stats matter.

Dan Marino held all sorts of bullshite meaningless statistical records, but he has 1 fewer Super Bowl ring than Trent Dilfer.

seriously, Pierre Thomas needs to be our feature back, using Bush in the slot/ outside runs, and Duece on occasion.

Stecker and Thomas are better at being runningbacks.

i think the hybrid needs to go more towards WR

bush in the slot + meachem and colston on the outside = $$$

Are you running shockey at TE or going with Deauce AND Karney in the backfiled?

Bush won't do anything with the Saints as long as he remains a RB. He will excell only as a slot receiver, but that doesn't look like a possiblity with the Saints.

Seriously, isn't he too short? He's only listed at 6'0" I guess Anthony Gonzalez is only 6' and he's doing decent with Indy.

At this point I'm over being pissed that Reggie is one of the highest (if not THE highest) paid RB in the league and can't run between the tackles. frick it, we've paid for him and he's a Saint. No sense being pissed about who we could have had, etc. I really just want to win some games, and Bush is fast as frick, so let's find a way to get him touches where he's just got to outjuke a LB/CB/S and not have to get around DEs anymore
