First Glock

I have owned several brands of pistols. My current champion is the Walther PPQ M2. The urge to have a Glock has hit me. I like the endless availability of accessories and mags for Glocks and their availability.
So what Glock and what caliber for Garden District Tiger.

Do you want to carry it ? Range only ? Night stand gun ? Caliber ?
Glock 17 or 19 is always good to go but the 19 is nothing different than the Walther you already have.
What other pistols do you own ? If nothing with a hammer , look at a CZ-75 compact.

I don’t own one either, but I shot my dad’s G48 at the range a few weeks ago. I’ll be buying one the next time I see one in my local gun shop.

Do you have an HK?

No HK. I have owned one previously. Sticking with the Glock due to the fact that they make an endless amount of parts and mags for them.
My Walther mags are almost impossible to get.

I have a 48 and like it alot but I don't think it has near the accessories available that the 19 and the 17 have. 19 is probably going to be what you want.

19 is small enough for CC carry and you can also get a ton of aftermarket support for it. It’s also large enough to be a comfortable range gun.

I bought a 23 the other day. It came with a 19 barrel and 9mm mags. So I could convert it to a 9mm if I need to. Just saying, that’s always an option too.

I just got a 26 9mm. A+
I like the 43 also.

I have a 23 so do you just switch out the slide with a G19 slide and barrel? Is it literally that easy?

You don’t even have to change the slide to shoot 9mm out of a .40 cal Glock. All you need is a 9mm barrel and 9mm magazine.

Just get a Glock 19 and be done with it. It really is the perfect sized handgun for almost every application you'll use in any real world scenario.

I have a 19 and 19x and a couple of polymer 80 in a 17 and 34
It would be a toss up between the 19x and the 34 for my favorite of the Glocks.
I really want a Glock 20 though and will have one before too long.

Get a Glock 7 if you can find one, according to John McClane it’s made entirely of porcelain. All jokes aside I’ve got a 26 and 17, love both of them.

Glock 18 would be pretty great as well... and it’s real.

26 conceals better and still cycles fine with 17 mags
That's the best one they made.

I can get a Glock 17 through the blue label program for just under 400 bucks. Probably going with it.

Funny you say that, I was actually going to include the 18 in my post but decided not to. As far as machine pistols go though I’ve always been a fan of the Beretta 93R
