I will be in Myrtle Beach in Mid June with the family and looking for things to do while there. I am sure we will check out the beach but also looking to do some other fun things with the kids. Kids are 12 and 13 and enjoy outdoor activities. Also i want to play a round of golf and would like to know any recommended courses there. Also any good restaurants that have live music we can check out? TIA

Brookgreen Gardens, which is south of Murrells Inlet, has a zoo and I believe boat rides on the river. Been to the gardens but did do the boat ride. Huntington Beach State Park is across the highway and those two places have an historical connection.
Murrells Inlet has a chain of restaurants with a board walk along the water and usually one or two of those will have live music. There are 8 or so restaurants there.
Farther north, on the way to North MB, is an alligator farm. There are many putt-put golf places. There is a Ferris wheel and touristy stuff like Ripley’s. Kids usually like that sort of thing.

Mini golf. They have tons of them. Take TulaneLSU with you and give us a top 10.

Vereen Gardens in Little River (20 minutes north of Myrtle Beach) is a great outdoor spot. It's also free. I'd also do a Conway trip if I could. It's about 20 minutes west of Myrtle Beach. There's a historic downtown area with loads of historic homes, a riverwalk, a marina, several neat little shops and some good restaurants.

They might be a little too old for Pirates Voyage, but I actually enjoyed it.
The Aquarium is nice.
There is a restaurant called Jerusalem. It’s kosher Moroccan. If you like Mediterranean food, it’s great.
There are several Japanese steak houses which can be a fun family activity watching your meal prepared right in front of you.
Broadway at the Beach and the Alabama Theater have some good shows.
I’m kind of boring. I like sitting on the beach and body surfing.

For some reason, MB is my favorite place to go - probably more for the nostalgia of going with my parents when I was younger.
I like going to Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing. Lots of good food, shops, shows, etc.
Not sure if you're in MB or NMB, but we always hit Pier 14 once when we go. It's on the beach and has live music most nights. Nothing fancy, just cool to relax with the salt water breeze.
MB is a good place for kids of your age. Anywhere you go, you can find something interesting for them to do. I would highly recommend having an idea of what you want to do for dinner so you can get reservations early.
