Students don’t need to go load up on loans and go to an expensive private college. Go to community college for two years and transfer over to a school to finish up. Your degree will be from the 4 year school. One other thing to consider is to target loans for STEM degrees, instead of art history and gender studies degrees.

I know plenty of people that had their kids take loans so they could buy a second home or boat instead of helping to pay tuition. This will just further incentivize this behavior.

Who cares if tuition goes up I’m done with college

Done with college. Doesn't understand that rising tuition combined with debt forgiveness means the tuition is now paid by taxpayers...which he presumably is since done with college.

've still got student loans up the arse, but I can't agree with this line of thinking. I know people who were more responsible than me and who have already paid them off. How is it fair to the people who paid off their loans on time? Do they get a refund of their money for having done so?

Indicative of how bad the education system in the US is...a college graduate who is unaware that life is not fair...and not at all alone in this. Loads of folks never get over the idea that life ain't fair.

I didn't go to college. Why should I and millions of others like me pay for college tuition of others? Some who even come from a household of parents who were college educated themselves?

Why is he stopping with forgiveness? Shouldn’t there be a refund too?

What about future student loans?

Why stop at student loans? I have a mortgage. What about car and home improvement loans? What about that helicopter I've been eyeing for my long commute to work? Don't forget my maxed out credit cards. Those sex dolls ain't cheap.

So not true. The market itself does not demand that you have it. It's only due to the fact that they will hire an individual with a degree before one without. And the oversaturation of individuals with degrees is what is adding fuel to that fire. And making school free will only increase that. Additionally our push for higher minimum wage and over-regulation are pushing manual labor jobs to other countries, again adding fuel to that fire.

I call you an alter based on your posting and has nothing to do with Trump kid.

It’s obvious you’re trolling. You can easily see that you’re an alter. Don’t be mad just because Biden is an illegitimate president.
