You might want to read up on it. because you see similarities to what the Dems are saying about trump supporters right now.

Except the Jews did not control everything in Germany for 40 years prior. The Jews also did not elect a leader without consent of the majority of voters who said Mexicans are criminals, white supremacists marching through the streets chanting anti=semitic phrases were good people, and jews did not attempt to thwart the democratic process when their leader failed to win relection. Outside of these and a myriad of other facts you would be spot on....

I got a BJ once while driving with a backseat full of people.

I got one once on Front Beach Road in a slow crawl of traffic in the back of our friends Tahoe with the barn doors open....needless to say we were intoxicated....had a crowd following along as we crept down the road at about 5 MPH. AT one point I looked into the crowd directly in the eyes of a policeman....dude didn't say a word. We were in our 40s LOL...had we been younger I suspect hed have done something but being our age, probably married also, figured if the old guy is getting a blower who was he to interfere???

We were quite sobered by this news....

was it your wife?

No, she survived thankfully. Still haunted by that experience though....it could've been her as we were very drunk. We were in our mid 20's at the time and old enough to know better but young enough to do stupid shite. Got by with it but another couple did not that night.

The balcony of a hotel

My wife and i were going to town on the balcony of our room at the Peachtree Plaza on new years eve....with her on the railing, about 8 stories up. There were other couples doing the same thing above, below and on either side of us. The next morning the news was reporting a woman had fallen to her death when she and her partner were engaged in that very act and she lost her grip on the balcony railing. We were quite sobered by this news....
In a planter outside the Omni in Atlanta after a Jimmy Buffet concert.....Tequila will do that.

My wife and I were going at it standing up in the water on Miami Beach one memorial day weekend years ago. In the second cut, about chest deep....I looked in both directions and there was a couple about every 75 yards doing exactly the same thing. Everytime we go to a beach since I point this out to her LOL. We thought we were doing something unusual but it is, apparently, about as common as sex in public gets.

Maybe so... but tracking Pruitt’s career from High School, to Alabama, FSU, Ga, back to Alabama, you find a lot of pretty dodgy stuff, marginal recruits with zero character, and some really stupid personal decisions.

I would guess he took some marginal actions, acted like an arse to a lot of the wrong people, treated his players to a couple of shite shows, and impulsively fired coaches, shot off constantly and was generally insufferable.

One thing is certain... no one was defending him in the end. You have to do a lot of things wrong to alienate everyone.

UT knew all of that when he was hired. Dude pissed off the wrong backers, probably with simply performing poorly but possibly that combined with his toxic personality. UGA dodged a similar situation with Jim Donnan. They all cheat but they have to play politics and keep the jock sniffing boosters happy.

No better way to ensure Georgia remains Blue for the foreseeable future than to replace the GOPe in Georgia with the Trump GOP. I am confident though this is going to be attempted across the nation. I am equally confident it will allow the Democrats to swing wildly to the left, drunk with power, and destroy themselves the same way they did with the CRA....hopefully the end result will be a viable third or more party in the US. Painful and costly but what about this nation has ever been easy?

Time to get a sweet Board of Directors position of a major corporation.

Easy money, low stress.

This would be the normal answer but the Trump brand and anyone associated with it is toxic....the companies which could weather the storm are few and those willing to lose money to do so are fewer still. Going to be hard for any of them to do much more than Sara Palin and work as a psuedo carnival huckster on the conspiracy theory trail.

He'll never be elected to office by either party again

Going to be tough on MANY GOP candidates in the coming midterms. They either turned on Trump and will be primaried by a candidate who is unelectable in the general election or were Trump supporters to the end and will face Stacey Abrams and company. The mid terms turned into a GOP blood bath last Wednesday and for the foreseeable future.

Even on these boards the tide is changing against Trump....the pardons and roll back of the EO banning lobbying immediately after leaving office has many Trump supporters questioning Trump's sincerity....18 months of non-stop reminders of the events of January 6 2020 will alienate more people than garner their support.
In all seriousness I would bet DJT is pretty damned happy. Imagine being out of THAT job???? No doubt he wanted to win but getting out of that pressure cooker hell hole of a job has to be a relief. I like nothing better that dragging up a job...it is ALWAYS liberating...hard to imagine having one that is tougher than the one DJT is no longer in.

Americans spend 7 hours a day looking at a screen. That’s TV, a streaming service, their phones and/or computers. That’s phenomenal. No wonder we’re losing touch with reality in this country.

It is alarming no doubt. I spend about 12 with 8-10 a day on a computer for work....it is disgusting LOL. I try t stay away from all of it from Thursday to Monday though....but then stare at the screen of a depth finder and fuss about with streaming music while on the boat....
Man its well on its way to start with! I understand the time crunch....being without it for a couple of years is something to consider. As good as it is now making it into the boat you sent as a vision is very doable and won't be nearly as expensive as buying that hull new.....i expected a hull with mold everywhere and missing rub rails and that sort of thing....the hull you are starting with looks like its been garaged and maintained to near perfection.
Imagine the glory of a United States WITHOUT Texas....the stuff that dreams are made of. Alas, won't happen....but it would be glorious.

It is not possible to exterminate unicorns but that wont stop a true believer from waiting for someone to exterminate unicrns
I would do it myself. The only reason to do it is the personal value the boat holds for you...way more meaningful to do the work yourself than pay someone to do it. That being said it is a LOT of work done properly...thats why it is so expensive. In my opinion though its worth the effort, but I enjoy working on boats.

I couldn’t survive without cable

Why would anyone want to? I can not tolerate streaming....it ain't worth the effort to save the $300 a month we pay for cable. I tried it for about a year a couple of years ago and stayed pissed off with trying to stream everything....I despise most technology anyway so I was never a good candidate for cutting the cord...my son is all in on streaming and spends about half of his time upgrading operating systems and downloading crap and watching TV that buffers every 10 minutes. I get it if you are broke but cable is a bargain...we spend $10 a day and there are 6 TVs in our house, 4 of them on almost all the time...its a very cheap form of entertainment when you consider the time spent watching TV...

've still got student loans up the arse, but I can't agree with this line of thinking. I know people who were more responsible than me and who have already paid them off. How is it fair to the people who paid off their loans on time? Do they get a refund of their money for having done so?

Indicative of how bad the education system in the US is...a college graduate who is unaware that life is not fair...and not at all alone in this. Loads of folks never get over the idea that life ain't fair.

re: Flags flying upside down

There have been a couple around my house upside down the last couple of weeks. AT least one was upside down during the capital protests.

I flew a flag outside my business for years but one evening a policeman entered our lobby and told my receptionist that our flag was out after dark and was not lit up as required. I went outside with him and of course the lights were on...he was of the opinion it wasn't lit up enough and we were in violation of a local ordinance. I didn't debate it with him, simply took it down and it never went back up again. I do not know if he was right or wrong but I wasn't willing to put up with the police either way. This was in Clarke County, Georgia and was an Athens police officer....I have no idea if there is actually an ordinance or not but it wasn't worth the effort of running afoul of the police, in my opinion.

Years ago when the Louisiana Lottery first started there was a policeman in central Louisiana that won 4 million dollars. The backstory is his wife was disgusted with his poor salary and that he was always working security details and overtime to make ends meet. She gave him an ultimatum, get a better paying job or she was leaving. She left and got a divorce, less that a year after the divorce was final he won the lottery.
He quit policing then,I was told by acquaintances of his he didn’t want to quit but he felt like he would be a lawsuit magnet.

He probably would've been a litigation magnet.

As far as the divorce they were both probably better off. I can't imagine my marriage ending but I know people who have been in bad ones and when they ended they were shell shocked for a minute but most overcame it and did well...

I remember that...they won $15 million not a million.

They were serious about the double wide in Alabama.

Too stupid to even have that much money.

Was it $15? I hope it was. I know it was lower than the jackpots became because it was the first one.

I don't know about the too stupid part though. It wouldn't be what I would do but it is the dream of a lot of people and who am I to judge?

I have tried to find out what happened to this couple...can't find much. I hope they lived their dream, as simple as it seemed, and enjoyed life. I would bet they were broke within a few years but I hope not....

I have a good friend who inherited a sizeable family fortune...nothing crazy but enough to live comfortably for him and at least a couple of generations. I know he and his wife have suffered through a lot of stress worrying about NOT blowing that money. Life has a way of breeding stress no matter what your circumstances are. He studied and fretted over boats for 2 years before buying one LOL...most people would think that inheriting a pile of money would make life simple and it does on one hand but comes with a lot of problems most working people are ill equipped to cope with.
