Tennessee #6 just lost by 26 to an average at best Florida team.

I’m not done with him, but he needs to go back and listen to his own interviews when he took the job. He talked about how JJ’s last team was a historically bad defensive team. Well...his refusal to hold his players accountable on defense has put his last two teams in a similar situation.
If you listen to his last few press conferences, he’s implied he’s offensive minded for PR and recruiting reasons. What is his sell, come here and you can score a bunch of points and play half arse defense. It is frustrating because defense is literally effort and fundamentals.

If a team nails 23 3’s and shoots 60%, sorry but you’re losing that game. It’s unfortunate that they had to come in the Maravich to get that hot and break an SEC shooting record. But when a teams that hot, you have to try to keep pace, and hope they eventually cool down. That’s about all you can do
