It's not about simping for the GOP personally, it's about looking at the big picture and wanting a mechanism in place to block and kill shitty legislation that will frick over the working poor and middle class.
The GOP sucks sure but control of the committees is important and we're going to get a reminder of that for the next 2 years.
Democrats may not have been able to get their legislation of choice passed after they won the house in 2018 but they were able to make the last two years of the Trump presidency a living hell for Trump simply because they had the speaker's gavel.

Yeah, no shite. DallasTiger11, this is what it's like to partially functioning brain. You encouraging people to stay at home in Georgia and/or not going to vote yourself (I see Dallas, but you have moved there), then you're not only stupid but deliberately put Trump over your country which makes you a traitor, especially when Trump told you to go vote for them.

I’ve argued with both of you about this endlessly. Agree to disagree. You two play the lesser than two evils game. I look at the even bigger picture that the GOP has to be completely destroyed and rebuilt for anything to change
