It's crazy how many major airlines we used to have in the US
Trans World, Pan Am, Northwest, Eastern, Continental, USAir

Pan Am was also lost in December of 1991. The only airline the world has ever known to be described as an institution.

Those were days, where you could be major share holder, borrow 2x what company was worth, and leave the company on the hook for that loan. So fricking scummy.
