One of the few times you'll see a somewhat unflattering picture of Audrey Hepburn (who was very photogenic):

Supposedly quite a few men saw Natalie Wood in that postion, and she didn't care who knew it. She liked sex and did not hide it.

Good Elvis story on his birthday.

Elvis passed on her one night for some other piece of strange. She was livid. One of Elvis' bodyguards stepped in and railed her that night.

Interior of B-17 at the waist and ball turret stations following a mission over Germany.

Amazing what a wide angle lens can do.

I have been inside a B-17 (awesome flight experience), and I was shocked at how cramp it was. Waist gunners had to be bumping into each other constantly while in battle.

A massive 31 inch/800 mm shell from the German 'Dora' railway gun next to a Jeep. The Dora’s shells weighed 7 tons and had a range of 29 miles.

Meet Dora…

In the later versions of the B-17, the waist positions were staggered to give the gunners more room. Also, they had enclosed windows, instead of the original open windows.
