Josh Pate is the best out there. He was completely on top of LSU winning out last year, and his analysis of each game was pretty spot on. He is fair, his takes are rational and studied, not just saying shite to get clicks.

Why does everyone assume we’ll never be any worse than second in the west and no one would dare believe otherwise. This is a clown reaction to a pretty basic take. We have to prove ourselves again.
Remember we were preseason #6.
ETA: and I watch Josh’s show from time to time, and before the 2019 season he was one of the only people saying we could be setting up for a national championship run. He’s good at what he does and 95% of the time I agree with him.

You thinking Pate a clown tells me all I need to know about your football acumen - he is very good at what he does. One of the few analysts that actually knows and studies the teams he covers, especially the SEC.

I’m not a big believer in Jimbo being able to sustain great teams in the SEC. He was good at FSU with one elite season in a weak ACC. If he makes them a contender every year, I’ll admit I was wrong. I think it’s fair to have some doubts at this point.

The video was about who has a brighter future between LSU and Auburn. He mentioned Jumbo has A&M built up and expects them to compete for 2nd 3rd in the West for foreseeable future. He never said LSU/Auburn will be looking up to A&M l.
This is wrong. You haven’t watched his other videos which this one references. He thinks A&M is here to stay the second best team in the SEC west, maybe occasionally winning the west. He thinks they’re only one good QB away from competing with Bama on the regular.
