Draft Tom Brady with the 4th pick?

I have the 4th pick tomorrow and I am thinking of taking Tom Brady. The main reason I am thinking of doing this is our league scoring. Passing TDs are worth 6 points and 1 point per 25 yards. This seems like a no brainer, but its ingrained in me to take a RB with the 4th pick.
Anyone care to comment?

I would take him
he is way more reliable than any RB not named LT

Probably, but i would be tempted to take Westbrook, Jackson, Gore, etc.. if they fell to me and try and grab Romo or Brees in round 2. But, Manning looking like a question marks really boosts Brady's value, and hurts Addai's value.

With Moss to toss at and the Patsie D allowances to overcome..good pick..but what about his leg?

reports are Brady's leg is fine....but he still won't come close to duplicating last year's numbers. They will run more this year.

in a big league picking brady that high may mean your rb selection in rounds 2 may leave you selecting through guys like brandon jacobs, willis mcgehee and jamal lewis as your #1 rb
and weak at the wr position...personally, i think this year sets up perfect for rb, wr, wr, BUT you can never knock the pick of tom brady...guy is money

go with Brady
addai and manning stock down
SJax is about to lose Pace again
Might go westbrook but he'll probably be gone
I'd take Brady over AP

12 man league. I feel like I can still get a starting RB with my 2nd pick

i would consider taking Brady over AP as well. I would take westbrook over him as well.

It's about differential.
Brady vs 4th best QB
Peterson vs 4th best RB
how many points projected?

I am not a high on AP either. I think the guy who picks at number 2 in our league doesnt really want him and will take Westbrook over him as well.

As would I.
Love AP's talent and running style but I'll believe he can play a full NFL regular season when I see it.

I had third pick last night and took brady. 8 man leauge. didnt take a runningback till 3rd round. I have Larry Johnson, Jamal Lewis, and Reggie Bush. I figure Jamal could do really well cuz the brown might run it a lot with quinn at qb.

does westbrook ever stay healthy?
i have the 2nd pick in my draft and I see both of see both of them getting hurt.

exactly....but, if manning is healthy i really think there is not dropoff from Brady to QB4 b/c i think Brady, Manning, Brees, or Romo could all post sick numbers. After the, there is a dropoff. But, Manning's knee screws this up.
There are about 5 RB's that could be nearly interchangeable if things work out.

he's missed one game each of the past 2 years, and averaged 2000+ yards from scrimmage, 10+ tds, and 80+ catches. I was also thinking of a PPR league when i say i take Westbrook second. He's an absolute beast in that format.
