I don't think they'll go for genocide as much as slavery. Still have to have someone work the fields and do the jobs the elite are too good to do themselves. Never mind people to do the dangerous jobs that can result in serious injury or death. But we'll just go back to slavery, with the difference being it'll be all Conservatives (White, Black, Asian, Hispanic, doesn't matter) and all non-elite middle and working class whites (Regarless of Politics, jokes on you White Liberal Middle Class Suburban Woman) who will be on the Plantations and in the Factory Housing as nothing more than property.

It doesn’t work like that. The entire armed populace cannot be taken by our military. The kind of door to door operations to capture citizens would be met with a lot of hunting, prior military and general hobby shooting experienced people disrupting them insurgent style. The military would see a lot of defections or sabotage from within. Sure the military could use heavier munitions, but the populace doesn’t have military installations to target. The resistance could disrupt roadways and interfere with trucking operations and starve out big cities. Then there’s the issue of other countries supporting the resistance from within.
In short, the military can’t just carpet bomb the entire nation. They need the infrastructure to remain intact. Look at Afghanistan and the insurgents there. If our military hasn’t been able to wipe out the insurgents in that country, they won’t be able to take out our population either.

Organisation - Genocides are always planned. Regimes of hatred often train those who go on to carry out the destruction of a people.
Polarisation - Propaganda begins to be spread by hate groups. The Nazis used the newspaper Der Stürmer to spread and incite messages of hate about Jewish people.
Preparation - Perpetrators plan the genocide. They often use euphemisms such as the Nazis' phrase 'The Final Solution' to cloak their intentions. They create fear of the victim group, building up armies and weapons.
Persecution - Victims are identified because of their ethnicity or religion and death lists are drawn up. People are sometimes segregated into ghettos, deported or starved and property is often expropriated. Genocidal massacres begin.
Extermination - The hate group murders their identified victims in a deliberate and systematic campaign of violence. Millions of lives have been destroyed or changed beyond recognition through genocide.
