The selections have been pretty bad lately I only listen to maybe one out of every two or three these days. Country strong seems like a Rubicon moment

The ones with Russillo are the best. I just listened to the Program last week and I could listen to the town episode multiple times. I really wish he would do the rock.

Dropped a Royal Tennebaums episode today. Hell yeah.

Maybe they’ll be better in 2021 with selections

plus Rusillo. He adds another layer of depth that I love.

25th anniversary this year

I’d be shocked if this was not in the slate to be done

I often wonder if they havent done some of these because they are concomitantly obvious candidates and yet really complicated because if they screw up the pod they'll never hear the end of it?

Predator. I mean, how have they not done that? There is so much meat there. Sonny Landham went mental during the shoot and almost killed everyone. The movie gets shite because they guys always look like they are standing all superheroy but the ground was so goddamn crooked everywhere they shot they literally had no other choice but to stand like that.

Blows my mind.

I really like the podcast but strongly favor episodes that Bill Simmons is actually on. He is the best at driving the show and it lacks something when he is absent. Also, love when Russillo joins.

Same.

Simmons has his quirks that get on my nerves, but he elevates the quality of the podcast when he's on it. I prefer the episodes where it's him, Ryan and Fennessey and the latter two roast him for his inane justifications for stuff.

That said, their Apex Mountain rationales make no sense half the time.

Changes every single pod to fit what Simmons wants

No kidding.

Usually switches back and forth between "most iconic role," "point at which they're most famous," "point where they have the most pull in Hollywood," and "point where they're winning awards."

They seem to muddle it the most with top echelon guys like Spielberg and Hanks.

Rewatched The Prestige last night and figure it would be perfect for this pod
