This was the result of straight up lies from the Democrat Party:

quote:

Democratic political and communications staffer Celeste Pewter led a campaign online to email S&S protesting the publication of Hawley’s book. She wrote, “Hey publishing community: Josh Hawley has a book coming out from @simonschuster. Boycott, protest, and let S&S know how you feel about them releasing a book from someone who’s stoking sedition and directly responsible for what’s unfolding today.” Others speaking out included Vox writer Constance Grady who asked, “What responsibility does publishing bear for platforming and profiting off of incitements to violence?” and agent Erin Murphy, who called on her fellow agents to email ceo Jonathan Karp.

This is CCP style censorship. Directives going out from the party to the corporate world.

S & S published both of Rush Limbaugh's books.

This is fricked up.

This is only going to make things worse, not better.

I will have to put Simon & Schuster on my NEVER BY FROM list and inform my family to not buy me books from them.

Actually, I might buy a few hundred thousand dollars worth and then return them.

Repeat the process every few months.

Jack asses.

He exercised his constitutional right as a sitting US senator and he has been canceled.

And yet, the New York Times and Washington Post published the Unibomber's Manifesto...

So, they think freedom of thought and expression is a greater threat to society and democracy than censorship?

Interdasting.

I didn't know he wrote a book. Now I do.

Thanks, Simon & Schuster!
