To be fair he wasn’t the OC. Making someone OC with no play calling experience is a big jump

One day yall will realize Brady called ay more plays in 2019 than you think.

One of the news guys posted on Twitter that he worked under 4 different first time playcallers, and he’s 37, so not like he’s in his 20’s. I think it could work well. Anyone young and energetic is an upgrade

Based on the offensuve play calling this year I feel like E called most of the plays in 2019 and Orgeron was telling the truth when he said Brady only called on 3rd and in the red zone. It’s not like our play calling was very different from last year this year, other than in certain situations

Not saying he’ll do bad, but he’s spent his tenure at Jacksonville, Washington and Carolina... all horse shite offenses (except McCaffrey).

Obviously hoping for the best just like everybody else.

I just don’t get why O didn’t make a hire like this after last year. What was he thinking bringing in washed up Linehan

I don’t know how to feel but Teddy Bridgewater regressed. Hopefully it was more Teddy than the coaches around him

No Kamara and Thomas will make a lot of players look mediocre. Add in no CMC, and of course he was going to look" worse than what we saw of him.

Young, up and coming offensive mind is where the sport is now. This certainly checks that box. Doesn’t hurt that Brady endorsed him.

What was different? We still ran a spread, we called many of the same plays. Really the only noticeable difference was in production, and before we lost our QB our Offensive production was quite solid.

Brennan had over 300 yards and at least 3 TDs in every game he played I believe

How many of you knew who Joe Brady was before we hired him?

What do a lot of you think was going on every time the camera panned up to the press box and one guy was rambling like crazy into his headset and the other was spitting his dip? Brady might not have called every play, but he called a ton, and he did so at an elite level without any prior experience doing it.

The situations we called them in were different. There is no doubt we operated out of relatively the same book, but the flow was nowhere near what it was like in 2019.

None of this is a slight on E by the way.

I like the move, the 2 were already working together under Brady. I'll remain optimistic about this hire!
